For students with a goal of public service, pursuing careers in education, nonprofits, government, and/or military who have a stated professional goal of public service. Students must submit two letters of recommendation, as well as a transcript.
Who: Graduating High School Class of 2021
Deadline: May 22 and September 11 (2 annual deadlines)
Amount: Full tuition, excluding room and board for 10-15 winners
Abbot and Fenner Scholarship
Applicants for this scholarship should include a 500 to 1,000 word essay about their future educational and career goals. One to four high schoolers win each year!
Who: High school juniors and seniors
Deadline: June 12, 2020
Award: $1,000
Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship
Submit an essay of maximum 500 words between 2 topics: “Why is it important to work to delete cyberbullying?” OR “How has cyberbullying personally affected you?”
Who: Open to High School Freshmen through Graduate Students
Deadline: June 30, 2020
Amount: $1,000 awarded to 3 winners
Course Hero Scholarship
Winners are chosen by how creative their short answers are. Monthly winners are picked so you can keep trying if you didn’t win!
Who: Open to high school seniors
Deadline: July 3, 2020
Amount: $5,000
Porch Skilled Trade and Technology Scholarship
Porch is looking to help the next generation of skilled workers, so to qualify you must be working toward a trade degree that can help others learn new skills or technologies.
Who: Open to students 18+ years old with a 3.4 GPA or higher
Deadline: July 17, 2020, recurs four times per year
Amount: $2,000
Don’t Text & Drive Scholarship
All you have to do for this one is submit a short statement of why you pledge to not text and drive.
Who: Open to High School Freshmen through Graduate Students
Deadline: September 30, 2020
Amount: $1,000
The Beliz Law Firm Scholarship
Create a short video on bicycle safety no longer than 3 minutes to qualify for this scholarship!
Who: Open to High school seniors and college students
Deadline: December 3, 2020
Amount: $500
Burger King James W. McLamore WHOPPER Scholarship
For students who demonstrated an active leadership role in community service or athletics with a minimum 3.3 GPA required.
Who: Open to those graduated from high school within the last three years or full-time students who are seniors at a high school or homeschool
Deadline: December 15, 2020
Amount: $1,000 each year of school up to $4,000
Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway
**They will accept entries starting in August 2020 so you can think ahead of time if you want to participate!
All you have to do is create a short, unique video on what impact you want to make with your degree and if you’re a finalist, you’ll get to throw a football at a college football game to compete for $100,000 in scholarship money.
Who: Open to students aged 18-24
Deadline: August – December
Amount: $100,000 Grand Prize (5 winners), $25,000 Runner Up Prizes (5 winners) and $2,500 Consolation Prize (10 winners)
