1. It’s A Wonderful Life

Even though this movie came out in 1946, it still holds up today. Most critics consider it one of the greatest films of all time, and it’s an iconic Christmas classic. James Stewart plays George Bailey, a down-on-his-luck man who, with the help of an angel, realizes what’s truly important in his life around the holidays. And remember, “every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings.”

2. Jack Frost

Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas helped make older, animated movies into holiday classics, and “Jack Frost” is one of the best. Jack Frost may not be as well known as Santa, but the iceman is still one of the most recognizable Christmas characters. In the movie, Jack becomes human to help a knight win his love interest and must prove he can make it in the world before spring comes.

3. A Christmas Tree Miracle

This 2018 holiday film stars Kevin Sizemore as a father of a somewhat dysfunctional family. They had it all, but then they lost everything- including their house. A local tree farmer (Terry Kiser) reminds them of the true meaning of Christmas, as they learn that Christmas miracles are real if you believe. This is definitely a heartwarming film for all ages!

4. Christmas Cartoon Classics

This 71-minute long compilation brings together some of the most iconic holiday cartoons, like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “The Shanty Where Santa Claus Lives,” and an old version of “Jack Frost.” It’s perfect for kids, but adults will love seeing these classics too: you’ll certainly fall in love remembering those times when you were a kid! Prime Video features a lot of holiday cartoon compilations, but this is one of the best.

5. The Christmas Lodge

This 2014 Christmas romance film about building new memories will warm your heart. After a weekend trip to the mountains, Mary (Erik Karpluk) finds herself at the now dilapidated family lodge where she grew up spending the holidays. Her visit to the lodge turned into a passion project: she became determined to restore the place to its original grandeur. This is definitely a sentimental flick you won’t want to miss!

6. Babes in Toyland

If nothing else, the fact that “Babes in Toyland” stars a young Keanu Reeves and Drew Barrymore makes it worth watching. Plus, you get to see all their talent on display as they sing and dance through this Christmas musical. “Babes in Toyland” isn’t the most well-known holiday flick, but it’s a throwback 1986 Christmas movie for the whole family to enjoy.

7. One Special Night

In this romantic holiday classic, Julie Andrews and James Garner star as two strangers who end up trapped together during a blizzard. It’s a heartwarming story suitable for all ages that stands out thanks to solid performances from the leads.

8. A Christmas Wish

Kristy Swanson plays Martha Evans, a mother of three whose husband abandons the family and runs off with their money. While the premise may sound unusually bleak for a holiday family flick, the movie is surprisingly heartfelt as the family overcomes their challenges and manages to enjoy the holiday season.

9. Second Chance Christmas

In another Christmas romantic comedy, Caroline (Katrina Begin) is fed up with her marriage and goes to file for a divorce. Shockingly, she has an accident on her way and then suddenly views love differently after developing amnesia. Her nearly ex-husband Jack (Tilky Jones) seizes the opportunity to erase past mistakes and rekindle their love. This is a funny, and unexpected holiday film that we definitely recommend.
