Applying for a college scholarship can be a stressful process. You normally need to compile a package of financial and academic information in addition to writing an essay.

Niche wants to make scholarships simple. That’s why they’re giving out $2,000 every month in a lottery. No essay, no long drawn out application, just money!

All you need to do to enter is fill out some basic information online: name, birthday, and email address.

To be eligible, you must be a U.S. resident, a high school, college or grad student, and attend (or plan to attend) one of the schools listed on Niche’s website.

The $2,000 prize is awarded monthly to a new winner, and you can apply once per month! The money can go toward any education-related expenses and can go a long way toward textbooks or meal plans.

Deadlines are the end of each month and winners will be announced on the 15th of the next month. For example, you have until Nov. 30 for this entry period and winners will be notified on Dec. 15.
