Here’s a complete walkthrough so you can know what to expect!
- You first pick your skin tone color. This will help them narrow down colors for products like concealer, foundation, and BB creams!
- Then pick your eye color. This helps ipsy choose eye makeup that can complement your natural eye color!
- Next, select your hair color. This also helps with brow products too. And don’t worry, you can always adjust these later if your hair color changes!
- The quiz will then ask how comfortable you are with makeup. I personally stick to the basics (BB cream, eyeliner, mascara, brow) but could brush up on how to contour or create smoky eyes without looking like I got punched!
What would you pick? - There were so many brands I couldn’t fit it all in one screenshot! Pick as many as you’d like.
More brands available in the quiz to pick from - I LOVED this question because it lets you customize your bag products. Since I’m always on the lookout for good eyeliners, I definitely wanted to get that as much as possible so I picked “Often.” There are more options that aren’t shown here. For instance, I selected “Rarely” for Nail Polish because I get lazy to do my nails!
- You’ll answer the same type of frequency question for skincare next.
- Then you get to choose how often you want to receive specific color shades. This question breaks into Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Lips, Nails, and Blush to really hone down the types of colors you want. If you’re going through a neutral phase, or later you go through an adventurous phase, it can always be updated!
- Pick all the fragrance scents you want! Florals make me sneeze so I’m a citrus scent lover.
- Then choose the stores you normally buy beauty products at. I’m a fan of Ulta, Target, Sephora, and Amazon!
- Skin concerns? Pick them here and they’ll customize skin care products for your bag.
- My thin Asian hair always needs volume so that’s what I picked for the hair profile question.
