Nonprofit Offers $1,000 to Those That Complete A Personal Finance Class

Free education on personal finance and a cool $1,000 upon successful completion of the course? Win-win.

The TCI Foundation founded by Bob Swift is offering free personal finance classes through their 3rd Decade Program to millennials in their 20s and 30s and upon graduation, $1,000 to put towards their retirement account.

Classes are in Flagstaff, Tucson, and Tempe. They’re open to working, full-time 21-35 year old millennials with a household income between $35,000-$100,000.

The 4 classes are held in the evenings and teach everything from understanding insurance to investing to planning for retirement. All the topics discussed offer important knowledge that everyone should learn about.

For the accepted students that complete the classes and pass the final exam, he/she’ll get a $1,000 contribution from the TCI Foundation to a Roth individual retirement account!

This popular program can fill up quickly so be sure to sign up while you can. For those outside of Arizona, the foundation is also working on an online version of this free personal finance course.
