How to Play Family Island:

- The next important structures to build will be the Dining Table, Loom, and Stone Workshop. Over time, you’ll also be able to upgrade your Home and structures.
- Trees produce logs, stones produce small rocks, berries provide energy, goats provide animal hides, chickens provide eggs, and you’ll encounter more resources as you play.
- Stars provide experience points, so as long as you complete missions, you’ll automatically get them to level up!
- Use Rubies (premium currency) to replenish energy or speed up processes
- You’ll get access to even more structures, rewards, and decorations as you level up!
- Tap and hold buildings to move them if you don’t like their position anymore
- Have fun customizing your island and helping your new family thrive.
Family Island will have you managing your resources in an action-filled adventure environment on a tropical island full of surprises to uncover. Family Island Beginner’s Tips!
- Energy is the most essential resource on the island since you need it to do tasks. The game gives 1 energy point every 2 minutes, but you can earn more by leveling up, inviting friends, purchasing via Rubies, watching occasional ads, and having food on the dining table.
- Leveling up refills the energy bar, so use up all your energy first, as you won’t get extra if your bar is already full!
- Tap the fruit bushes, starfish, and shells for a gift box. These give various items, including energy, cooking salt, and more!
- Missions are on the left side of the screen. Completing these objectives will be the fastest way to level up. If you don’t know where something is, tap the MAGNIFYING glass, and it’ll show you!
- As you clear more areas by chopping grass, bushes, trees, and rocks, the fog will lift, and you’ll have more space to build necessary structures.
- Visit the other islands to collect resources. When leveling up, you’ll unlock new islands, and there will be unique islands during events.
Gameplay Milestones:
- At Level 6, you can access Treasure Island, the Bathroom, Golden Tools, and the Merchant Ship. This is when you can freely travel to your first new Story Island to find valuable resources and treasures! When you complete Treasure Island, you’ll get the Time Fountain, which gives a huge amount of energy every so often. The traveling Merchant will also visit every few hours, so you can choose to sell items to him to get gifts in return!
- At Level 11, you’ll get the quest to Repair the Shaman’s Altar. Once completed, you can fulfill orders for him and get Salt as one of your consistent rewards. Salt is necessary for cooking; cooked foods will give you free energy!
- Your Home Island is your top priority. Make sure the structures on your Home Island get built first. The long-term Story Islands are secondary, but you’ll eventually need them to progress through the story. The Adventure Islands are last in priority because they consume too much energy to “win,” but you can still get resources and gift boxes from them.
Long-Term Story Islands List:
Long-term Story islands will unlock at certain levels so you can visit islands other than your Home Island. These permanent islands will help you progress in the story. Your Home Island is the top priority, and once you get a good resource management rhythm, visit the long-term islands for even more items and advance the story.
