Social media and being constantly online is making you tired. Yet, you can’t stop.

Even when your phone notifies you of your increased screen time compared to the last week. Well, we’re in a pandemic. What else to do?

How about a digital detox but with a fun incentive?

Time to Unplug in an RV

Roadtrips are making a comeback and you could have the ultimate road trip in an RV to a national park of your choosing. Oh, and also get paid $1,000 to turn off the phone.

SatelliteInternet.com, a company based in Salt Lake City, is hosting this Digital Detox RV Trip so one lucky winner (and a guest) can unplug for the weekend.

You can use your phone for directions, but once physically at the campsite, time to shut it off. No pictures, no posting. Considering that the internet could be spotty, and your phone probably can’t take astronomy photos, you wouldn’t miss much.

Instead, you can revel in nature, get that campfire going, make some s’ mores, and treat your eyes to a starry real-time movie in the sky.

Digital Detox Rules

If you’re the lucky winner, you and your chosen guest will get $400 upfront.

You’ll also be reimbursed up to $1,000 for a 3-day RV rental at a campsite of your choice, food, a mobile hotspot, and transportation to the campsite. (Keep those receipts!)

After the trip, you’ll get $600 if you successfully stayed 2 nights without technology. On the 3rd night, you can turn on that mobile hotspot and share your digital detox experience online.

While the date range for the trip is flexible and of your choosing, the deadline to enter for this trip is September 23, 2020, and you must be over 25 years old.

Who wouldn’t want to get paid to frolic in nature? It’ll also do your mental health some good. Let’s detox and good luck!
