On Veteran’s Day in the U.S., we honor those who serve or have served in the armed forces. Veteran’s Day is our chance to show appreciation for the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving our nation. As a result, many companies and brands offer discounts for service members on Veteran’s Day, November 11th.

Unless otherwise specified, every offer is available to any active duty military or veterans other than those dishonorably discharged. You’ll need to show proof in the form of a Retiree or Military Identification Card, VA Benefits Card, Veterans ID Card, or DD-214.

Applebees: Participating restaurants offer free meals to service members from a select menu. While thousands of Applebee’s locations typically participate, consider calling your local restaurant ahead, just in case they’re facing any restrictions.

Au Bon Pain: Free breakfast sandwich and small drip coffee. Valid in cafes at participating locations. Find your nearest location here

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: Free meal from a select menu. Dine-in only

Black Angus Steakhouse: Free meal at all locations from 12 pm to 3 pm local time on November 11th. Includes 6 oz Top Sirloin Steak, Mashed Potatoes, and Steamed Broccoli. Dine-in only. Service men and women also get a 15% discount year-round. Find your nearest location here

Bob Evans: The restaurant chain has a select menu for military members on November 11th, and vets can get any entree for free. It’s no surprise since Bob Evans himself was a veteran. You can find the menu, and your nearest location, here.

California Pizza Kitchen: Get a free non-alcoholic beverage and entree from a special menu

Chili’s: Like other restaurant chains, Chili’s offers free meals to service members from a select menu. Most entrees come free on November 11th, but you can find the full menu and directions to your local Chili’s here.

Dickey’s Barbeque Pit: Free Pulled Pork Sandwich on November 11.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Free donut of choice at participating locations.

Einstein Bros. Bagels: Free hot or iced coffee (any size) with a purchase in-store.

Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Night is being hosted on November 14 from 5 pm to close. Get a free “thank you” meal with dine-in.

Greene Turtle: Free meal up to $13 in value, dine-in only.

Hard Rock Cafe: Free Legendary Burger all day long on November 11 for dine-in.

Hooters: Free entree from a special menu with beverage purchase. Dine-in only.

Texas Roadhouse: Receive a meal voucher from 11 am – 2 pm local time. The vouchers can be used until May 30, 2023, from a special menu.

TGI Fridays: Free lunch from a special menu on November 11 from 11 am – 2 pm local time at participating locations.

Wendy’s: Free breakfast combo from 6:30  – 10:30 am local time at participating locations
