Your first cup of coffee keeps you “normal” for the day.

Your second cup, you’re feeling perkier.

Third cup? Well, they don’t call you a self-proclaimed coffee queen or king for nothing.

And now, Gevalia Kaffe wants to make that status more official with their latest Coffee Queen contest, where a grand prize winner (and a +1) gets a weeklong trip to Edinburgh, Scotland to live in a castle.

Not only will you and a friend get 6 nights accommodation in a freakin’ castle (Carlowrie Castle to be specific), you’ll also get paid $5,000 as a “salary.” Plus, a personal chef and butler to make you feel like real royalty, fancy five-course meals, coffee-inspired spa experiences, and of course unlimited coffee!

Aaaand, on top of the “salary,” you’ll get an additional $2,000 check as spending money while you explore Edinburgh.

So what do you need to do?

  • Have a valid passport
  • Answer why you’re a Coffee Queen or King (keep it shorter than a tweet though)
  • Be able to travel on these dates: March 22, 2020 – March 28, 2020

Since the entry relies on your answer, here’s how they’ll pick the winner:

  • 50% goes towards the attitude so be relatable, self-aware, and/or witty-funny!
  • 30% goes towards how well it fits the contest theme, so obviously, talk about coffee
  • 20% goes towards creativity and originality
