Oscar Mayer Needs A New Wienermobile Driver, and It Could Be You
Do you wish you were an Oscar Mayer Weiner? Then hot diggity dog, do we have the perfect job for you. Oscar Mayer is looking for a Wienermobile driver to take the famous hot-dog-on-wheels from coast to coast.
Previously only open to college seniors, Oscar Mayer has opened applications to recent graduates! Here’s what you need to do to get behind the wheel.
Hotdoggers Wanted
The official role is a full-time, one-year gig as a Wienermobile hotdogger and spokesperson. In addition to zipping across the country in a 27-foot hot dog, you’ll also represent Oscar Mayer in media appearances, charity events, and more. The job is basically being an Oscar Mayer brand ambassador, and the ideal candidate has a degree in PR, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing. But those aren’t the only candidates: anyone with an outgoing attitude, driver’s license, and 3.0+ GPA will be considered!
Of course, you must be comfortable traveling and communicating with others. The job posting notes that social media experience is important, as you will create Wienermobile content for Oscar Mayer’s social channels.
And since you’ll spend much time self-managing on the road, Oscar Mayer is looking for trustworthy, autonomous people who can get the job done without much supervision.
