Each holiday season, Starbucks, the world’s largest coffee chain, rolls out a massive promotion with tons of great prizes. As the name implies, the grand prize of the “Starbucks for Life” contest is free Starbucks, every day, for life. In total, Starbucks is giving away 2.5 million prizes this year, including five grand prizes and nearly two dozen other ways to win.

Entering is as simple as clicking a link or buying a coffee, and you could be on your way to free Starbucks for life!

To enter the sweepstakes, simply visit StarbucksForLife.com and sign in with your Starbucks rewards account. You’ll earn an entry token just for signing up, and you can earn two additional entries every day through January 4th, 2021.

To be eligible for the promotion and prizes, you must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • A legal resident of the U.S.
  • A member of the Starbucks Rewards program (which is free to sign up for)

Once you’re in the sweepstakes, there are two ways to add extra entries and boost your odds of winning. First, you can make any purchase at a Starbucks location with either a Starbucks card or through the company’s app.

However, there is no purchase required to receive entries, as you can simply submit free entries on the Starbuck for Life sweepstakes page. Every entrant is entitled to two submissions per day, and those can be two free or two paid entries!

There are 20 prize tiers available, but a majority of winners will end up with bonus stars in their Starbucks Rewards account from the sweepstakes. Of the 2.5 million total prizes, 1.4 million are some amount of bonus rewards stars.

As mentioned above, there will be five grand prize winners who will be able to get one free item from Starbucks every day for 30 years. Other notable prizes include

  • 1 year of free Starbucks (15 winners)
  • 6 months of free Starbucks (50 winners)
  • 3 months of free Starbucks (75 winners)
  • 1 month of free Starbucks (100 winners)
  • Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (450 winners)
  • A roundtrip Alaska Airlines ticket (200 winners)

If you’re not a Starbucks Rewards member, it’s free to join! Even if you don’t get a prize from the sweepstakes, your membership can give you freebies, deals, and discounts throughout the year.

Sweepstakes winners will be chosen on January 5th, and prize winners should see their rewards soon after. If you win stars, you’ll see those first credits loaded onto your account by February 15th.
