Tax Day is April 17 This Year
Typically, Tax Days fall on April 15, but since that falls on a Sunday this year, and the Emancipation Holiday is being observed by Washington D.C. the next day, Tax Day for 2018 is pushed to Tuesday, April 17.
I usually file my taxes in March but forgot to check for any cash back opportunities until now.
So if you file your taxes online, and have been pushing it off, you’re in luck! The below locations are offering varying % of cash back value if you file through any of them via Ebates.
How it Works:
1. Sign up for Ebates easily (this tool will help spot cash back opportunities anywhere you shop online not just for taxes)
2. When logged into Ebates, search for your preferred tax e-filer
3. Click on your preferred tax e-filer in Ebates and it will display a confirmation that you’re
on your way to X% cash back!
4. Finish filing taxes and X% of what you paid as a total will be given back to you in your
Ebates dashboard.
It’s that simple! I’ve been using Ebates for years and have gotten a lifetime total of over $400 back but didn’t think to apply it to my tax filings. Now you can get some extra cash back because every little bit of savings helps!
**Remember to submit your taxes by April 17 this year to avoid any penalties or interest
