How the $5 Monthly DoorDash Credit Works

If you’re a Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholder then kudos to you: not only will you benefit from the free DashPass benefit (which I’ll explain more about below), but you’ll now also receive a $5 in-app credit each month from April 2022 until December 2024. If you add that up, that’s a total added value of $165!

Earning DoorDash credits via your Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit card is easy and requires no activation. Simply enter your Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit card information as a payment method in your DoorDash account. The $5 credit will automatically populate at check out. The credit can be used on everything, including delivery fees, taxes, and tips.

When you place a DoorDash order using your $5 monthly credit, you’ll still be able to pay the difference with your Chase Sapphire Reserve® credit card and earn 3X points per dollar on all DoorDash takeout orders too.

What’s even better? Each $5 credit can be rolled over for up to three months at a time. So, you can accumulate $15 in credit after three months and then place an order for a meal.
