If you’re anything like me, time is of the essence. You can’t afford to waste it on trivial nonsense or something that doesn’t get you anywhere. I can honestly say I’ve signed up for paid online surveys in the past but never felt that taking the time to complete surveys was a productive way to earn cash.

What about Ipsos iSay surveys, though? Let’s take a deeper dive.

What Is Ipsos iSay?

Ipsos iSay is one of the largest survey sites in the world for market research, and its audience consists of people in the U.S. and Canada. It was founded in 1975 and has offices in 88 countries with over 16,000 employees. The company is publicly traded, and its headquarters is in Paris, France.

While taking the time to do paid surveys may seem trivial, they have become beneficial in helping researchers to know essential information. For instance, Ipsos iSay survey results were just as crucial as Reuters regarding the last Presidential election.

How Does Ipsos iSay Work?

Once you’ve signed up for surveys on Ipsos iSay and completed your profile, you have access to your user dashboard, which you can view to see what surveys you qualify for. You will also receive emails inviting you to take part in surveys. Unlike similar sites where you can earn money or rewards for doing many things in addition to taking surveys, like playing games, watching videos, shopping, downloading apps, etc., Ipsos iSay’s focus is solely on paid surveys or polls.

Polls and surveys are two different things. Surveys start with qualifying questions, and you get access to the actual surveys. The more surveys you complete, the more points you receive. Not everyone will qualify for a survey, so you won’t be expected to take them all. But even those you disqualify for will earn you something.

Where surveys are centered on your direct response, polls are guessing games, where you guess the percentage of people responding a certain way to something. If you’re familiar with the game show Family Feud, consider those questions when it comes to polls.

For instance, here’s a poll question: “How many people answered yes to smoking a cigarette before leaving home for the day?” You guess a percentage. The correct answer will also be revealed. You earn chances toward bigger contests, like $300 gift card drawings, depending on how close you are to the correct answer.

Ipsos iSay Points System

Ipsos iSay rewards are based on a point system. The more surveys you complete, the more bonus loyalty points you earn. Members will receive up to eight surveys or more each month, and if you don’t qualify for a survey, you earn 5 points.

  • 5 completed surveys earn you 25 points
  • 10 completed surveys earn you 50 points
  • 25 completed surveys earn you 100 points
  • 50 completed surveys earn you 200 points
  • 75 completed surveys earn you 250 points
  • 100 completed surveys earn you 300 points
  • 125 completed surveys earn you 400 points
  • 150 completed surveys earn you 500 points
  • 200 completed surveys earn you 600 points

How Do You Redeem Your Rewards?

For every 100 points on Ipsos iSay, the value is $1. Points can be redeemed for cash or gift cards, including:

  • Amazon
  • Starbucks
  • Tim Horton’s
  • iTunes
  • Target
  • VISA Prepaid cards

So, it would take 500 points to get a $5 Starbucks gift card or other cards of your choice. If you prefer to have your reward in cash, it would take 1,530 points to get $15 in cash in your PayPal account. You’ll need at least 1,000 points, equal to $10, to redeem a VISA prepaid gift card.

The good thing is these rewards don’t expire as long as your account is active. The downside to redeeming your rewards is that you don’t get them all instantly. While you receive an email instantly after redeeming your e-gift cards, PayPal cash could take up to four weeks to process.

You may not always want to receive instant rewards. If you have at least 250 points, you can use those points to enter larger prize sweepstakes. Every four months, 10 lucky members can win 5,000 points each.

You also get a chance to win more points by referring people you know to join. Every friend you refer that signs up earns you 100 points.

If you prefer not to receive the rewards, the rewards can be donated to charitable organizations.

Is Ipsos iSay Legal?

Ipsos iSay is one of the most well-known market research companies in the world and partners with the most well-known one of all (Reuters). It has clients in over 100 countries and is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, so yes, it’s completely legit!

How Do You Get Started?

It only takes a few minutes to get started on Ipsos iSay, and it’s free to join.

  1. Log in (You must be 18 years old to sign up)
  2. Enter your email address and password to get started
  3. Respond to the profile questions (this is so they’ll know the type of surveys to send you or put on your dashboard)
  4. Start earning points by responding to surveys

The Bottom Line

Is Ipsos iSay worth your time? If you’re looking for a side hustle that can make you a lot of cash quickly, then Ipsos iSay is probably not worth your time. If you consider yourself an extremely busy person who doesn’t have much time to complete multiple surveys each week, this may not be your venture. But if you do have some time on your hands and can afford to spend the time it takes to complete several surveys or polls each week, then Ipsos iSay could possibly be the way to pay for your favorite drink at Starbucks.

Not only that, but if you own a nonprofit and are constantly looking for ways to gift others or say “thank you” to people who support your cause, consider having your nonprofit board become members of Ipsos iSay. See all the rewards that could be redeemed for your business venture. Now, that may be a worthwhile deal.
