Scan Barcodes and Get Rewarded with National Consumer Panel
The exclusive National Consumer Panel program is opening up again for more participants! Since acceptance is based on various geographical locations, readers can check if they’re eligible.
What is National Consumer Panel, and is it worth going through the process to get accepted? We’ll dive in.
What is National Consumer Panel?
National Consumer Panel is a joint venture between NielsonIQ and IRi, the biggest consumer insights providers in the U.S.
When you become a panelist, you’ll utilize their free app, NPMobile, to scan the barcodes of any items you purchase during a typical shopping trip at least once a week. You’ll earn points to redeem for:
- Visa Gift Cards
- Amazon Gift Cards
- Tablets
- Keurig Coffee Machines
- Flat Screen TVs
- and much more from their gift catalog!
In addition to scanning the barcodes, you’ll provide some additional information, like the store you went to, whether you used a club card, and the prices of the items.
The more you share your shopping habits (scan barcodes on your phone) with National Consumer Panel, the more rewards you can get. You can also input items that do not have a barcode via their in-app list.
When you share your opinions, they’ll be passed to the manufacturers/retailers that make the same products you buy to improve their products.
How to Earn Rewards
The bulk of your points will come from scanning the barcodes from your shopping trips, but you’ll also get additional ways to accrue more.
Regular participation on the National Consumer Panel will earn you automatic entries into member-exclusive sweepstakes, which includes their quarterly $5,000 Cash Giveaway!
“It’s really easy. I think of it like a game, and I look forward to scanning my items each time. I’ve already gotten a $25 gift card after 2 months!” – Gabby F.
Participate in surveys and special studies to earn even more points, sweepstakes entries, and other prizes. You can even earn points via the app’s exclusive games.
Not Just for Groceries
National Consumer Panel is interested in anything you buy, so in addition to groceries, you can submit data on your gas purchase, prescriptions, takeout, and any other purchase you make regularly!
Sign up now to see if you’re eligible to be a National Consumer Panel member. If you don’t get accepted this time, don’t worry! They’re constantly expanding locations, so check back again.
