I received by B.A. in Economics and Global Studies, with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before shifting my career to journalism, I was an analyst with KPMG's international business consulting group in New York City. I have four years of experience as a business, finance and markets reporter with a focus on consumer and technology sectors. I also specialize in feature pieces, Millennial trends and work culture, contributing to sites including Investopedia, The Motley Fool, and a leading SaaS industry publication.

- In 2015, I quit my consulting job and bought a one-way ticket to India, where I received my yoga teacher training. I have traveled the world as a freelance journalist and yoga teacher ever since.
